Progressive Web Apps (PWA) enhance your store’s user experience by allowing customers to download and access your store directly from their mobile devices. This guide explains how to activate and customize the PWA feature for your store in Shopibx.
Enabling the PWA feature is included with your Shopibx subscription, but it is available only with the Pro Plan and higher.
Step-by-Step Instructions #
- Navigate to PWA Settings
- Log in to your Shopibx dashboard.
- Go to
Settings>PWA Settings.
- Activate the PWA Feature
- Toggle the “Activate PWA” button to enable the app functionality for your store.
- Customize Your App
- Fill out the following fields:
- App Title: The title that will appear when users install your app.
- App Name: The app’s official name, displayed on users’ devices.
- Theme Colors: Choose your app’s primary and secondary colors to match your store’s branding.
- Fill out the following fields:
- Save Your Settings
- Click the “Save” button to confirm your changes.
- Customer Download
- Once enabled, customers visiting your store on their mobile devices will see an option to “Add to Home Screen.”
- They can tap this option to download the app and access your store easily from their device.
